To t he Editor:
I want to express my concern with the liquor permits that will be on the March 6 primary ballot to the residents of Perry Twp. Alcohol related crashes, domestic violence and underage drinking are just a few of the problems that go along with easy access to alcohol. Do we want this in our peaceful community?
With the cost of a liquor permit, roughly $3,000, a business would have to sell a lot of alcohol to recoup the cost of the permit. Perry Twp. has always been a dry township and I would hate to see that change. Please take time out of your busy schedule and vote no on these issues on March 6.
Marcia Henry Trushel
Perry Twp. resident
