To the Editor:
On behalf of The Carroll County Animal Protection League’s members and Board of Directors, I want to thank everyone who helped in any way to make our fifth Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction a grand success. The event was held Oct. 19 in the Minerva Senior Center. Christy Talbert and her Great Dane dog, “Lilac”, from the Columbus, OH, Therapy Dogs, gave a great presentation! Proceeds for this event was $11,971.00!

For those who bought tickets but could not attend, thank you for your support! Thanks to our wonderful CCAPL volunteers and members who sold tickets and worked so hard in the planning and organizing of this large event!
All proceeds will go into our no-kill animal shelter construction fund which we are trying our best to build on our property located at 4901 Canton Rd. NW (Rt. 43) Carrollton as soon as possible. We are in the process of putting together our financial-business plan for a possible construction loan from a local bank.
