To the Editor:
“Revenge of the Fallen.” What a great title to this year’s Carrollton Warrior gridiron campaign. After going 0-10 last season, the Warriors have turned it around and are undefeated thus far. An impressive 6-0! Great job boys. Keep up the good work! All of you are playing like champs!

Now they are headed into the thick of the schedule to face Louisville, Northwest, Minerva and Canton South - four very tough competitors. The upcoming game is perhaps the biggest game the Warriors will play so far this year. Louisville is the only other team in the NBC that is undefeated and they are Carrollton’s next opponent. I am urging everyone who supports the Warriors to set aside this Friday (Oct. 9) to travel to Louisville to cheer on the Warriors. The game starts at 7 p.m. This game is for a chance to go 7-0, a chance to take sole lead of the NBC and a chance to revenge last year’s winless season!

Fans, please don’t forget the old tradition of driving around the square and honking the car horn following a Warrior win at home. I seldom hear this happening anymore. This simple action shows our pride for our team and keeps them pumped.

I hope to see all of you in Louisville Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. cheering on your CHS Warriors.

Brian Keyser
Carrollton, OH
