To the Editor:
There are so many people I need to thank for their help with the ham dinner held Aug. 20. All proceeds go to the CHS Marching Band Fund.
I want to thank Tim and Amy Dayton of Dayton Excavating for the use of the rotisserie, Ullman’s Bakery, Betty Kaye Bakery and Ponderosa for the dinner rolls and cakes. Thanks to Jimmy’s Backyard BBQ for the donation of the baked beans and cole slaw.
We had a silent auction to which the following businesses donated various items and/or gift cards: Family Video, Sunset Acres Dog Grooming, Carson’s NAPA, Bud’s Flowers, Ace Hardware, Heartland Hill Restaurant, Davies Hair Design, Subway, Gotch and Company, Ashton’s 5 and 10 and The Holiday Shoppe, Hair Gallery, Huebner Chevrolet Subaru, Donna’s Deli, Timeless Cuts, Circle K, Miss Abigails, Brace Power Equipment, Hair Etc., Radio Shack, Jobes Pharmacy, Ed Long Inc. The Light House, The Law Office of Stoneman & Okey Law Co., Consumers National Bank, Carrollton Country Flowers and Thorne’s Marketplace.
Thanks also to the following for their monetary donations: Rose Seck, Dellroy Market, Melanie and Lester Dodds and Don’s Custom Meats.
To everyone who attended our dinner, took dinners to go or called in for a delivery of dinners, thank you for your support.
I appreciate all the hard work the parents, students, band staff and band boosters have done in the past, all they do now and all they will do in the future for the Carrollton Warrior Marching Band.
