To the Editor:
On behalf of the Carroll County Junior Fair Facilities Improvement Committee (FIC), we would like to thank everyone in the community who came out and supported our successful 1st annual Chicken Barbecue June 27. The event would not have been possible if it were not for the hard working committee members, all of the volunteers who worked at the event, the 4-H clubs, items for the dinner and those who so graciously donated baskets for our Chinese auction.

We would also like to thank the Carroll County Agricultural Society for allowing us the use of their facilities. We look forward to seeing you at our eat stand on the north end of the fairgrounds at the 2009 Carroll County Fair.
