To the Editor:
Once again, the Lord provided his grace as Mt. Pleasant held its 6th annual wheel show May 22. The weather was gray, cloudy and misty, but some 43 entries of cars, trucks, projects, pullers, motorcycles and more enjoyed a good time.

My sincere appreciation to all who supported, helped, donated and participated. A special thank you to Dave Campbell, Don Montgomery, Jim Butler and John Weyand for coordinating the event. A big round of applause to the women of the church for providing the eat stand. Thanks also  to the parking crew consisting of Jerry Rinehart and Dick Shepherd and to Carla Rinehart for handling registration. Our faithful donors and sponsors were very generous once again. The world famous Spikeman did another wonderful job.

A big thank you to the following:

Door prize sponsors: Carroll County Historical Society, Matco Tools (Hunter Snyder), Carroll Electric Co-op, Huntington Bank, EmBroid-Me (Alliance), Heartland Hill Restaurant, Fox Auto, Pizza Hut, Bud’s Toys, Ullman’s Bakery, Guess Motors, Rinkes Insurance, Advanced Auto, Discount Drug Mart, Key Bank, H&M Tire, Aultman Fitness Center, Jobes Pharmacy,  Farmer’s Exchange, Ponderosa, Carson’s NAPA, Ace Hardware, Sheriff Dale Williams, Gionino’s Pizza, Best Auto, Welsh Horn, Auto Zone, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Thorne’s, Consumers National Bank, Carroll County YMCA and Subway.
