To the Editor:
On May 27, the Carroll County Veterans Club Inc. flag raising was held at 7 a.m. for all service connected military families followed by a Memorial Day breakfast.
It was also the official opening day for little league baseball. Today the Vet’s Club has three fields for all age groups of ball and cross country high school teams, three rental pavilions and a pond that visitors can walk around and observe wildlife.

In the last 15 years of county growth, many new families have moved in and are unaware we exist. Membership is available for any service connected member honorably discharged who is a permanent resident and have lived in the county for six months or more.

This 62-acre park is available for you and your family. It is located at 2038 Brenner Rd., behind the pool.
