To the Editor:
On March 16, Barack Obama issued another Executive Order – one of many giving him increasingly more power and diminishing the power/authority of Congress. With this latest order, he empowers himself with the authority to declare martial law and seize American resources and manpower in a sweeping power grab that should disturb every American. This is more evidence of the Obama administration’s attempt to destroy our Constitution.
With his quietly announced “National Defense Resources Preparedness” Executive Order (EO), Obama places himself and certain government bureaucrats above the law. It grants the power “to commandeer all U.S. domestic resources, including food and water, as well as seize all energy also forcibly draft U.S. citizens into the military and force U.S. citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of “national defense.” There is no Congressional oversight allowed, only briefings.
On May 1, President Obama signed another Executive Order “Promoting International Regulatory Cooperation” which inches the U.S. toward World Governance (his ultimate goal). This order opens the door for the United States to give up economical and environmental sovereignty through the promotion of a single international regulatory system.
This should cause every reader to shudder with fear and disgust. Our Constitutional rights and beautiful country are systematically being destroyed. Obama’s plans for gun control/seizure and huge tax increases are being kept relatively quiet until after the election. Remember his campaign promise of “no tax increases on anybody making less than $250,000 per year? He lied!
If he is re-elected, huge tax increases on everyone are coming in 2013; all carefully designed to be effective after the election. Three examples of many: one percent tax on most bank transactions (think about it and add it up, it’s huge); 2.3 percent on every real estate sale; and a Medicare increase from $96.80 to $247 in 2014.
Make certain you vote in November to change the direction of our country.
