To the Editor:
As co-chairs for the Relay for Life Longaberger Bingo, we would like to thank all those who were basket sponsors and those who filled the baskets for our 2012 event, held April 29.

Thanks to our sponsors and those who attended and played bingo, enjoyed lunch and shared their hope for a world without cancer, we raised $3,700; quite a feat for an afternoon event!

Without the support of the following basket sponsors and fillers, it would not have been possible: Dr. Doug Burik, McFadden Insurance, Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home, McIntire Show Horses, Deb Senko, Palmer’s Hair Design, Diamond T Fencing, SS&E (Cheryl Wallace), John and Melanie Campbell, Kim Davis Nationwide Insurance, Kate Offenberger, Ruth Ann Albaugh, Gary Willen, BJ Gray Realty, Main Street Skill Games, Dr. Gary Crump, Schmuck Farms, Mercy Health Center of Carroll County Relay Team (Angels of Mercy), Free Press Relay Team, Barb Walton, Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant; Brandi Burton, Scentsy consultant; Bud’s Flower and Gifts, Hair Etc., Donna’s Deli, Ace Hardware, and Tammy Sanderson.

With the support of the community, we are making a difference in the battle against cancer and are celebrating a world with more birthdays!

We invite the community to join us for the 2012 Relay for Life June 29 and 30 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds. A survivor dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. June 29 followed by opening ceremonies and the Survivor Lap at 6 p.m.
