Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:
I am responding to the letter Mr. Carlton wrote to the editor April 30, 2009.

Trees are being damaged and devalued and corn and soybeans and valuable vegetation crops are being eaten by this out-of-control deer herd. The highways are becoming unsafe to drive on because of too many deer.

Mr. Carlton is so right and justified about deer damage on his property and to his business as a tree farmer.

The Division of Wildlife needs to seriously change its course on this growing problem or pay for the damages caused by too many deer.

James R. Steele
Harrison Twp.
Carroll County, OH
