To the Editor:
I want to thank everyone who braved the snow storm Feb. 21 to attend the Boy Scout Troop 141 Ham Dinner. It just seems that Scouts, ham and snow all go together somehow.

It takes more than just parents to a raise these young men. It really does take the community. I believe we witnessed that at the dinner.

Thanks so much to all the businesses that donated items for the silent auction. Thank to those who put our sign up on billboards, Thorne’s Market, Carrollton High School for the use of the facility and the churches that support us.
