To the Editor:
We need to step back and take a look at Boy Scout Troop 141’s annual Ham Dinner.

It really has become a part of Carroll County history. I can always count on the great Carroll countians to show up year after year, just as I do, to support the troop and be a part of history.

Little do we know the impact we have on all these young men. Each one of these scouts takes something away from the dinner each year, whether it be good manners, personal hygiene, politeness, learning to handle food safely, set up a table, clean up, design a video, etc. The list goes on.

So to all of you teachers, instructors, trainers, partners, helpers, scouts, parents and grandparents: thanks so much for taking part in all that work. We hope you enjoyed another Ham Dinner.

We want to express our special thanks to Deluxe Body shop as well.

Mark Walters
