To the Editor:
We wish to thank all those who assisted in any way with the Salvation Army “Red Kettle” campaign in the Carrollton area.

Your donations, given in the local area during this time, stay here to work in our community the rest of the year to provide emergency assistance to local residents who are not able to be served by other programs.

Collections this year totaled $10,637 and will, during these difficult economic times, make a huge difference in the lives of many.

A special thank you to the brave and hearty who stand in the cold to ring the bell. You are the backbone of this endeavor.
