To the Editor:
It seems like a lot of folks out there in “Space” (Congressman Space that is) are unhappy and restless. It seems they are unhappy with Congressman Space. I am too. He claims he is a Blue Dog Democrat, but his voting record says differently. He consistently votes with the Liberal Left Loons in Congress and he recently switched committee assignments to the Energy and Commerce Committee so he could push the looney Cap and Trade legislation.  What are Mr. Space’s positions on the acorn scandle, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac wanting more bailout money? Funny I don’t hear much on these issues from Mr. Space, just the usual propaganda.

Earlier this year I tried to talk to Mr. Space about these and other issues when he was in Carrollton, but I was told it would cost me $10. Say what? Wow! This is a new one. Maybe the sign on SR 332 south of Carrollton right. Maybe Mr. Space is “Nancy Pelosi’s Lap Dog” and maybe we need to send him home. I guess I should be thankful I didn’t get to talk to Mr. Space, I saved $10. If things out there weren’t so serious, Mr. Space’s record would be a minor annoyance.

It is fair to say we have serious problems facing us. Cap and Trade, so called Health Care Reform, which the majority of the American people don’t want, acorn, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Do these loons in Washington care what the people want? For the first time in U.S. history, an American President has surrounded himself with self-proclaimed communists and socialist advisors and cabinet members. This is serious business. Hello out there. Communism and socialism don’t work. Mr. Obama says he is a Christian, what about Rev. Wright? If you dare ask any questions of our politicians, you are either branded  a racist, a radical or a trouble maker. I am none of the above, just an independent taxpaying voter and I am wondering what is going on.

Yes, Mr. Space, maybe it is time you came home. And, Mr. Space please stop sending me literature telling me how great you are. I don’t need it. I keep informed.

Robert K. Bailey
Carrollton, OH
