Charlie J. Hamby

Charlie J. Hamby, 62, of Greenville, NC. formerly of Bergholz, died March 6, 2008.

Born Oct. 4, 1945, he was the son of Alberta Paisley Hamby formerly of Bergholz and now of Greenville, NC and the late Claude Hamby.

He was a 1964 graduate of Springfield High School.

He is survived by three children, Charlie (Amanda) Hamby, Jason Hamby and Hallie (Patrick) Hinnant, all of Greenville, NC; four grandsons and several cousins.

Funeral services were held March 11 in Greenville.  Blackburn Funeral Home of Bergholz was in charge of local arrangements
