Karen J. Leisenring

Karen J. Leisenring, 65, passed away April 26, 2008.
Born in Akron, she has resided in Carrollton for the past six years moving from Cuyahoga Falls.
 
She was a 1960 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and received her associate degree from Kent State University where she worked as an administrative assistant in the Research and Graduate Schools.  She was the music secretary at the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and worked in the family business O.L. Construction.  She was a member of Falls Chapter #245 Order Of The Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Budd; children, Scott (Sara) McIntosh of NW Ohio, Lori (Jon) Vanyo of Wayne Co., Kathy (Mike) Fraley of Kent, Jeff (Christine) Leisenring of Green, Amy (Ryan) McDougal of Stow and Lora Ford of Stow; 25 grandchildren; brothers and sister Bill (Judi) Martz of Cuyahoga Falls, Larry (Jackie) Martz of Freeport, Dennis (Marcia) Martz of Cuyahoga Falls and Susan Kain of Mentor and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held April 30 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls with Pastor Robert E. Linsz officiating. Interment was in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family requests memorials to your favorite charity in her memory.
