Judith L. Jacobs

Judith L. Jacobs, 61, formerly of Euclid, died April 4, 2008, in her home in Carrollton surrounded by her family.

Born Nov. 18, 1946, in Cleveland, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine Petruha Gozoski.

A graduate of Kent State University, she was an Ohio Reads volunteer for five years at Sherrodsville Elementary.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Jacobs; two daughters, Melodie Jacobs and Kelcey (Chris) Jacobs and a brother-in-law Richard Jacobs.
At her request, no public funeral service will be held.  The family wishes memorial contributions be made in Judy's name to the Carroll County Animal Protection League. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home.
