Theodore M. (Shab) Mayle

Theodore M. (Shab) Mayle, 70, of Carrollton passed away March 19, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born July 11, 1937, in Moatesville, WV, he was a son of the late Hayward and Nina (Kennedy) Mayle.

He was a member of Crystal Park Wesleyan Church of Canton and was employed for 30 years with Laborers Local #1015 of Canton, retiring in 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Delores J. (Hartman) Mayle, whom he married July 9, 1960; two daughters, Valerie Conley of Carrollton and Andrea Mayle of Minerva; two sons, Tracy Mayle of Hendersonville, TN and Marshall Mayle of Carrollton; a sister, Velma Ward of Louisville; two brothers, Kelly Mayle and Hershall Mayle, both of Canton; three grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Croston and three brothers, Orville, Bob and Darrell Mayle.

Funeral services were held March 22 in Crystal Park Wesleyan Church with Rev. Robert Bolois and Rev. Winfield Mayle officiating.  Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.  Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
