Mary Valentik

Mary Valentik, 103, of Minerva died March 22, 2008 in the Great Trail Care Center. 

Born April 9, 1904, in Mt. Carmel, PA., she was a daughter of the late John and Victoria Talaski. 

She was a housekeeper and member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.

She is survived by a daughter, Stella (Sam) Newlan of Virginia; a son, Steve Valentik Jr. of Minerva; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Valentik Sr. and a son, John Valentik.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening 6-8 PM in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva where a Wake Service will be performed at 8 p.m. with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 26 at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's Catholic Church Cemetery in Bentleyville, PA.
