Phyllis A. Murphy
Phyllis A. Murphy, 80, of Carrollton, passed away March 17, 2008, in Carroll Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 9, 1927, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Iva (Smith) Russell.
She was a welder at the former Carrollton Manufacturing Co.
She is survived by three sons, Danny (Linda) Grimes, Rodney Grimes, and Randy (Cheryl) Grimes, all of Carrollton; a daughter, Barbara (Ronald) Johnson of Carrollton; a sister, Vivian Bennett of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Murphy and two brothers, Howard and Gilbert Russell.
At the request of the family, Phyllis has been cremated and no services planned at this time., 80, of Carrollton, passed away March 17, 2008, in Carroll Health Care Center.
