Darlene Bentley

Darlene Bentley, 66, of Carrollton passed away April 30, 2008, after fighting a long and hard battle with a lengthy illness.

She was the daughter of Elwood Wolfe of New Carlisle and the late Myriel (Parker) Mitchell.

She was a homemaker, wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Herman Bentley of the home; five children, Kendall (Shirley) Bentley of Florida, Mrs. Dan (Tracy) Myers of Minerva, Keith (Lisa) Bentley of Canton and April Beckley of Carrollton; a son-in-law, Bob Beckley of Malvern; a stepson, Randy Bentley of Canton; three sisters-in-law, Helen (Donald) Miller of North Canton, Margaret Bentley of Robertsville and Kathy Wolfe of Strasburg; a half-brother, Fin (Elsie) Wolfe of Lucasville; half-sister, Phyllis (Russell) Anglemyer of New Carlisle; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Millard Scott Bentley; a stepson, Blake Bentley and brother, W.F. Wolfe.

Funeral services were held May 3 in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton with Pastor David L. Powell officiating.  Burial followed in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern.
