Marjorie M. ClowMarjorie M. Clow, age 89, of Bilmar Drive S.W., Sherrodsville, Ohio, died Monday evening, August 27, 2012, in the Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia after a brief illness.

She retired in 1988 as a postal clerk for the Sherrodsville Post Office where she worked alongside her husband Bill for many years.

She was born January 28, 1923, in Belmont County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Henry L.  and Mary Belle Ward Michelli.  She married her husband, William W." Bill" Clow, Jr., July 21, 1941.  Bill passed away Nov. 15, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and a son-in-law.

She was an active and devoted member of the Sherrodsville Lions Club for better than 36 years and served the club as both a vice-president and secretary.  Marge could often be found playing bingo at the Lion's Club Hall on Tuesday nights. But mostly, Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.  She was an accomplished cook who enjoyed collecting cookbooks and liked to spend time crocheting.  She was a caring, compassionate and giving individual who would often reach out and assist friends who were in need.  Marge and her husband Bill opened their hearts and doors to everyone.

She is survived by her three children, Margie Ann and Leroy Hoffee of Fort Worth, TX, Bill and Peggy Clow, III of Mogadore and Barbara Coffy of Merritt Island, FL;  nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and  two brothers,  Donald and Pat Michelli of Pittsburgh, PA, and Thomas and Mary Lou Michelli of Barnesville.
