Rose Estella Haines
Rose Estella Haines, 89, loving wife of the late George Haines of Carrollton, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the home of her son, Douglas, in Massillon.
Born Jan. 14, 1921, in El Paso, TX, she was a daughter of the late Tomas and Carolina Rodriguez Silva.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Carrollton, National Line Dancing Teachers Association, and National Republican Party.
Estella is survived by three sons, Douglas Haines of Massillon, Dwayne (Debbie) Haines of Green, and Donald (Julie) Haines of Hudson; one daughter, Leslie (Jeff) Lucas of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Lucas, Lindsay (Josh) Zehentbauer, Rachel, Adam, Karlie, Kolbie, and Kyle Haines; brother, Oscar Silva of El Paso, TX; sister, Caroline Baron of Las Vegas, NV; friend of the family, Rick Scott; and her special pet, Hayley.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, George Haines; sister, Ernestina Ramirez; and brother, George Silva.
Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Carrollton with Fr. Anthony Batt officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-8 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
