Doris Jean Haines

Doris Jean Haines, 79, of Taft St., Sherrodsville died Sunday evening, Feb. 14, 2010, in Carroll Healthcare Center of Carrollton following a brief illness.
Born April 17, 1930, in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Cepris Brownsberger.

Doris was a retired employee of the Atwood Lodge where she had worked for 18 years.

Doris is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas (Suki) Haines Jr. of Canton, Craig (Kathy) Haines of Pahrump, NV., Steve and Patti Haines of Canton, Eric (Toady) Haines of Dellroy; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one brother, John Brownsberger of Louisville and one sister, Ruth Drumm of North Canton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Haines, May 29, 2000; one brother; and one sister.

Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Sweeney- Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
