Nancy Belle Loveless

Nancy Belle LovelessNancy Belle Loveless, age 85, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010.

Born June 14, 1925, in the Slate Branch Community of Pulaski County, she was a daughter of the late Grant and Eula Taylor.

She was a member and attended Sandy Valley Church of God and valued the devotion and friendship of Pastor Clifford and Margaret Hughes.  She was the owner of the former Red Robin Restaurant in East Sparta and manager for several years at the Newton House, (an A.A. rehabilitation center) of Canton.  Nancy was a true southern cook who enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for family and friends, no one left her home hungry.

She loved time spent in conversation with her family and friends, bingo, playing guitar and singing with anyone willing to join in.  She was blessed with a generous spirit and never forgot anyone she would meet.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Charlene and (Michael) Maddox of Danville, KY, Lana and (Jerry) Shepherd of Carrollton, and Jeffrey and (Justiina) Loveless of Minerva; grandchildren, Tami and (Richard) Pulliam, Eric Coffman, Dana Corley, David (Annie) Speaker, Chad (Melanee), Justin (Jessica), Matthew (Rachel Fairclough), Rachel, Madisen and Lydia Loveless; great-grandchildren, Clinton, Kelsie Pulliam, Jordan and Kyle Speaker, Gavin, Isabella, Avah, Kaylie, Lyllian, Luke, and Carter Loveless; sisters and brothers-in-law, Eva Taylor, Faye Gooch, Beulah Eaton, Opal (Wince) Rogers, Janet (Larry) Singleton, Robert (Roxie) Loveless, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly and step grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arthur Loveless whom she married July 6, 1946, and who preceded her on Dec. 11, 2004; and siblings, Haskeu, Zella Mae, Opal, Audie, Ballard, Beatrice, Ruby, Wilda and an infant brother, Dillard.

Funeral services were held Aug. 6 at Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home Bro. Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment followed in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
