Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville for Donna Taylor, 84, of Bergholz, who died Feb. 19 at Gables Care Center of natural causes surrounded by her loving family.
Rev. Jason Elliott will officiate at the services, followed by a private burial in Bergholz Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of the 11 a.m. funeral services Friday.
She was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Bergholz, a daughter of the late Bryan and Hazel Talley Griffith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Taylor and brother, William Griffith.
Donna lived in Bergholz most of her life, was a former secretary of the Jefferson County Democratic Party for many years and was a member of the First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville.
She is survived by her son David "Bub" (Jo Ellen) Taylor of Wheeling, WV; daughter, Sharon (Robert) Carroll of Bloomingdale; sister, Emma Daily of Bergholz; grandchildren, Amy Jo, Emily and Kelly Taylor of Wheeling, WV, Brian (Sharon) Carroll of Bloomingdale; Bill (Dani) Carroll of Richmond, Barbara (Todd) Mazzaferro of Bloomingdale, and seven great-grandchildren.
