Donald "Bruce" Westfall
Donald "Bruce" Westfall, age 69, of Carrollton passed away at his residence Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.
Born May 27, 1943, in Canton, he was a son of Lucille (Gray) Westfall and the late Donald Isaac Westfall.
He was a longtime salesman for Carrollton Graphics and worked several years at The Freeport Press. He was co-founder of American Colorscans Inc. in Columbus and owned The Gun Shop for seven years. He had been a Carroll County deputy.
He was raised Methodist and was a member of Baxter's Ridge Church.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter of big game. He raced and showed cars, enjoyed off-road vehicles, jeeps and trucks, and had his pilot's license.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Lee Noble of the residence, whom he married Nov. 22, 1961; his mother, Lucille Westfall; a son, Donald Bruce (Michelle) Westfall II of Granville; three daughters, Rebecca (Bill) Habyan of Canton, Deborah (Paul) Saluan of Hinckley, and Christine (Jeff) Graham of Carrollton; a sister, Sandra Ketchum of Carrollton; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. in Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Ogg officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 5-9 p.m. in the funeral home. |
