Rosemary Turkson

Rosemary Turkson, 86, of Canyon Rd., Carrollton died early Saturday morning, Dec. 3, 2011, in East Ohio Regional Medical Center in Martins Ferry, OH.

Born Sept. 28, 1925, in Nimishillen Twp., Stark County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Leona Brown Scott.

She retired from TRW Manufacturing in Minerva.

She is survived by a son, Ralph Turkson of Carrollton; a stepson, Mark Turkson, Jr. of Alliance; two daughters, Leona Williams of Carrollton and Ramona Caldwell of Bowerston; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, June Hammond of Arizona and Hazel Millikin of Navarre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Turkson, Sr., on Jan. 13, 1988; and a brother, Sonny.

Private graveside services were held in Westview Cemetery at Carrollton.
