Maxine Betty Cox

Maxine Betty Cox, 92, of Minerva, passed away, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, while in the company of family members at her home.

Born June 11, 1920, in Newton Falls, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Roxie E. (Summers) Gugelman.

She was a member of Entre Nous, Great Trail Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, and Minerva United Methodist Church.

Maxine is survived by a daughter, Sandy J. Cox of Manhattan Beach, CA; a brother, Albert W. (Dorothy) Gugelman of Prescott, AZ; grandchildren, Robert H. (Luz-Eugenia) Cox, Jr., of Columbia, SC, Daria (Mark) Curtner of Sidney, OH, Venae M. Banner and Adam P. (Jessie) Mueller, both of Minerva; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L Cox; son, Robert Henry Cox; daughter, Polly Ann Mueller; and grandson, Lindsey Randall Cox.

Graveside services were held in East Lawn Cemetery Oct. 1 with Chaplain Larry Karlan officiating.  Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
