Gerald Oscar Cannon

Gerald Oscar Cannon, age 76, formerly of Carrollton, died Feb. 15, 2011, in Hobart, IN.

Born Oct. 27, 1934, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Roy and Myrtle Cannon.

He attended Wellsville Schools and retired from TRW/PCC in 1992. 

He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann (Hooker) Cannon, whom he married in 1997; three sons, Gerald David Cannon of East Liverpool, and Gary (Vickie) Cannon and Mark Cannon, both of Carrollton; a daughter, Ranelle (Herman) Carson of Minerva; a sister, Myrtle Scott of East Liverpool; grandchildren, Janice (Cason) Leggett, Scott Carson, Amanda (Walt) Blackburn, LCPL Brook Cannon and Brady Cannon; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Per Jerry's wishes cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were under the care of Greentree Crematory in Indiana.
