Mary Viola Boley
Mary Viola Boley, age 83, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011. Mary loved the Lord and enjoyed her family.
Born May 7, 1927, in Carrollton, she was a daughter of the late Vern E. and Pearl E. (Baxter) Cassidy.
She worked at Timken Roller Bearing, Atwood Lodge, Genie Garage Door in Alliance and was a cook at Carrollton Friendship Center. She enjoyed crochet, word search, driving, scenic views, euchre and bingo at the Friendship Center. She was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Leonard (Alexis) Boley and Mark (Beth) Boley, both of Carrollton and Tim (Polly) Boley of New Harrisburg; three sisters, Kathleen (Raymon) Kommell of California, Maude Brackin of Carrollton and Madaline Baker of Modesta, CA; a sister-in-law, Margie Cassidy of Alliance; six grandchildren, Stacey Jett, Chris Orum, Junior Boley, Jeff Boley, Joshua Boley and Sarah Addison and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Cassidy, Lee Cassidy and Bob Cassidy and a sister, Ruth Biddle.
Funeral services will be held Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Bruce Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Perrysville Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, Jan. 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
