Howard E. Hull
Howard E. Hull, 80, of N. Market St., Lisbon, passed away at 1:15a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Hospice House, Poland after a long illness.
Born July 30, 1931, in Salineville, he was a son of the late Earl C. and Mary McClain Hull.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had been employed as a tub enameler at the Eljer Company, Salem for 40 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Franklin Square United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Judith S. Betts, whom he married Sept. 16, 1956; a daughter, Jodine Hull of Lisbon; two sons, Wesley E. (Margaret) Hull of Lisbon, and Kevin G. (Tammy) Hull of Leetonia; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Sneyd of Mogadore, Mrs. Linda Cargill of Pattersonville, OH, and Mrs. Marvis Eshler and Ms. Connie Orr, both of Canal Winchester, OH; a brother, Merle Hull of Salineville; and six grandchildren, Alex, Clancy, and Casey Hull of Lisbon and Elizabeth, Brandon, and Matthew Hull of Leetonia.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Hull, and two sisters, Jean Hull and Joann Hull.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. at Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, with Reverend Rick Dawson and Lisa Evans officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Square Cemetery.
