Ethel Brooks

Ethel Brooks, age 90, of Carrollton died Sunday evening, Dec. 2, 2012, in Carroll Golden Age Retreat following an extended illness.

Born June 7, 1922, in Monroe Twp., Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Myrta LeMasters Beamer.

Ethel was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Carrollton.

She is survived by two daughters, Jane (George) Brown of Dayton and Janet (Larry) Pitts of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 2003; a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrollton with Pastor Andrew Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Carrollton.  Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Memorial donations may be made in Ethel's name to Carroll Golden Age Retreat, 2202 Kensington Rd., Carrollton, OH 44615.
