Naomi Kinsey
Naomi Kinsey, age 93, of Minerva and formerly Augusta, died Sunday Nov. 15, 2009, in her home.
Born July 26, 1916, in Salineville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ella (Turner) Wirebaugh.
She is a retired postal clerk for the Augusta Post Office. She attended Augusta High School and was a member of the Stillfork Presbyterian Church and a 60-year member of Carroll Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #315.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Glenn) Tucker of Augusta, Joan (Dan) Wickersham of Minerva and Sally (John) Simpson of Harrington, WA; four sons, Paul "Bill" Kinsey of AZ, Robert (Monica) Kinsey of Minerva, Ronald (Jeanann) Kinsey of Carrollton and Donald (Kim) Kinsey of N. Canton; a half-sister, Joann Lucas of Carrollton; 34 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lafayette Kinsey who died in 1988; two sons, Walt and Jim Kinsey; two brothers, George and Paul Wirebaugh and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Virginia Birks officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Calling hours are Wednesday 6-8 p.m. with Eastern Star services at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
