Paul David Harsh
Paul David Harsh, age 77, of Carrollton passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Carroll Golden Age Retreat after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Oct. 9, 1934, in New Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Homer Franklin and Jennie Marie (Gallon) Harsh.
He was a truck driver for 38 years and worked as a maintenance groundskeeper at Ponderosa Park in Salem and Cutty's Sunset Resort in Louisville. He was an avid camper and woodworker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Louise (Furbee) Harsh of the residence, whom he married July 1, 1956; two sons, Dave (Nancy) Harsh of Boardman and Scott (Debbie) Harsh of Port Richey, FL; two daughters, Beth (Harold) Cain of Carrollton and Tracey (David) Gibson of Ravenna; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the personnel at Carroll Golden Age Retreat and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care they gave Paul during his battle with Cancer.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Harlem Springs. Calling hours are Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. |
