Ida M. Talkington

Ida M. Talkington, 84, of Carrollton and formerly of Bergholz, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Carroll Healthcare Center.

Born Aug. 3, 1924, in Galloway, WV, she was a daughter of the late Moses and Mary Hetrick Maley.

She was Methodist by faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Neil) Mills of Strongsville; five sons, Paul (Diane) Talkington of Carrollton, Jerry (Cynthia) Talkington of Willoughby, Jack (Shirley) Talkington of Richmond, Willard (Patricia) Talkington and Jim (Lisa) Talkington, both of Amsterdam, 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Talkington, Sr. whom she married Oct. 29, 1941; six brothers and five sisters.
