Louis E. Vosi

Louis E. Vosi, age 88 of Minerva died Friday, May 14, 2010, in Aultman Hospital.

Born Dec. 25, 1921, in Minerva, he was a son of Eli and Mary (Russ) Vosi.

He was a lifetime dairy farmer and member of the Carroll County Farm Bureau, Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  He was a US Army Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian (Pearson) Vosi whom he married Aug. 7, 1963; son, Bryan (Georgeann) Vosi of Minerva; two daughters, Lynnette (Roger) Fessenmeyer of Minerva and Valorie (Greg) Herman of Indianapolis, IN; a stepdaughter, Regena (Brad) Bowman of East Rochester; three sisters, Virginia Fritzgerald of Apple Valley, CA, Emma Maldoven of Alliance and Sylvia (Lee) Varner of Louisville; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Vosi, Mary Buta, and Annie Vosi and a brother, John Vosi.

Funeral services were held May 18 in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva was in charge of arrangements.
