H. Dean German

H. Dean German, 81, of Dover, formerly of Dellroy died Wednesday evening, Jan. 4, 2012, in Union Hospital of Dover.

Born Feb. 8, 1930, in Dellroy, he was a son of the late Okey and Mary Ann Shotwell German.

He attended Starlight School in New Philadelphia and lived at Horizon Inc. in New Philadelphia and Bolivar.

He is survived by two brothers, Orlo German of Magnolia and Lynn German of Dellroy; three sisters, Evelyn Jones of Dellroy, Norma Roof of Canton, and Donna Mae Westfall of Carrollton; and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 9 at 3 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton with David Millard officiating.  Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.  Visitation will be Monday form 1 p.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dean's name to Horizon, Inc. of New Philadelphia.
