John C. Boylan

John C. Boylan, 82, of Fresno Rd, Carrollton died in his home Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, following a brief illness.

Born Sept. 15, 1927, in Carrollton, he was the son of the late Wallace and Hattie Belle Thompson Boylan.

He was a farmer having lived and worked the same farm his entire life.

He is survived by his wife the former Linda (Susy) Brothers; four sons, Jim (Cathy) Boylan of Carrollton, John L. Boylan, Jason Boylan and David Boylan, all of the home; three daughters, Barb (Billy) Pittman of Bloomingdale, Mary (Tim) McCoy of Toronto and Sue (Dick) Frase of Carrollton; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy in 1976 and a daughter, Melissa.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
