Christina (Chris) Bowen

Christina (Chris) Bowen, 96, of Carrollton died early Friday morning, Nov. 25, 2011, in Great Trail Care Center in Minerva following an extended illness.

Born July 27, 1915, in Amsterdam, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Eliza Aldred Patrick.

She was a former village clerk for the village of Carrollton.

She is survived by a grandson, Clay Bowen and a great grandson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bowen, in 1980; and her son, James A. Bowen in 2004.

A memorial service will be held Nov. 30 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Gordon Warner officiating.  Interment was in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
