Florence Mae Beckley

Florence Mae Beckley, 90, of Carrollton died Saturday evening, Nov. 12, 2011, in Carroll Healthcare Center in Carrollton following an extended illness.

Born Aug. 9, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Mathilda Hicks Haladay.

She was a 1940 graduate of Perry Township High School, Carroll County.  She was a retired employee of the former Surety Rubber Company in Carrollton and was a member of Carrollton First Presbyterian Church at Carrollton.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth C. Beckley, whom she married Jan. 17, 1950, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Burt McGlown officiating.  Private interment will be in Westview Cemetery at Carrollton.  Visitation is Wednesday from 10-11 a.m.
