Natalie J. Sanford
Natalie J. Sanford, age 63, of Sherrodsville passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, in The Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.
Born July 4, 1948, in Canton, she was a daughter to Floyd S. and Donna Jean (Slusser) Oswald.
Natalie was a 1966 graduate of Timken High School and a member of Dellroy United Methodist Church. She was employed by the Canton Board of Education and formerly employed by Heritage Christian School and United Bank of Canton.
She is survived by her husband, Michael K. Sanford, to whom she was married 27 years; one son, Nathaniel Sanford of the home; her mother, Donna J. Oswald of Sherrodsville; three brothers, John and Loran Oswald of Magnolia, Dan and Georgia Oswald of Canton South, Paul and Cathy Oswald of Canton; two sisters, Adella and John Clough of Florida, and Lizabeth Trent of Magnolia; father-in-law, Jack Sanford of Massillon; brother-in-law, Mark and Karen Sanford of N. Canton; sister-in-law, Melissa and Schawn Stoiber of Massillon; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her father, Floyd S. Oswald, and one sister, Deborah Reynolds.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Mt. Zion Community Church, 2637 Baum St SE, Canton, with Jim Scalf and Pastor Carol McCartney officiating.
