Aurelia Gayle Hiple

Aurelia Gayle Hiple, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend came to the end of her journey Oct. 9, 2011.

Gayle was born Dec. 20, 1938, in Wheeling, WV.  She spent several years in Carrollton, OH, before moving to Arizona with her husband and children.

Gayle moved to Benson, AZ, in 1986 and worked within the Benson community helping people through her different businesses.  From her antique shop, plant nursery, tea room and health food store, she was known for sharing her wealth of knowledge.  She was a founding member of the Benson Merchants Association and had worked with several community organizations.  Gayle was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Benson.

Gayle's kindness, love and compassion left a mark on all those who knew her.  She will forever be missed.

She is survived by her sons, Tim T. Hiple and Scott Hiple; her daughter, Tanya Hiple; her grandson, Samuel Hiple; and her brothers, Harold and Glen Grover.

The family would like to express our deepest thanks to the staff of Benson Hospice for their loving care.  The caring staff took excellent care of Gayle and helped to make a difficult situation a little easier.  We would also like to thank all those who provided support, kindness and prayers in our time of need.

A memorial service will be held Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 642 S. Hwy 80, Benson, AZ 85602.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to ask for people to donate to the Benson Hospice program.  Our mother would want to help those families in need of support during a difficult time.

Send donations to:  Benson Hospital, in appreciation of hospice rooms, P.O. Box 2290, Benson, AZ 85602.
