Glenda W. Landis

Glenda W. Landis, age 95, formerly of Carrollton passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, in Visa Center in Lisbon.

Born Dec. 10, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Metta (Liston) Smith.

She worked as a stenographer for Kelly Secretarial Service and was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, George "Bill" Landis of Hanoverton; a daughter, Debra Landis of Healdsburg, CA; and two grandchildren, Amity Bacon of Santrancoco, CA, and Will Leister of Windsor, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George William Landis, whom she married in 1945, and who passed away in 1963; a brother and four sisters. At her request, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were by Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home.
