James Winter

James Winter, 63, born June 13,1948, in Canton, lost his battle with cancer June 6, 2012. 

He was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served his country.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Winter; four brothers, William (Gail) Winter, Tom Winter, Richard (Patti) Winter, and David (Kathy) Winter; two sisters, Patty (Jerry) Brinkley and Jean (Bill) Hanenkrat; four daughters, Tammy Winter-McKnight, Jenny, Natalie, and Jaime Winter; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Winter; and beloved sister-in-law, Judy Winter.

He was a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather.  You may be gone but you will never be forgotten.  We will always love and miss you Jimmy.

He was laid to rest June 12 at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, OH.
