Ruth D. (Rusty) Hampton

Ruth D. (Rusty) Hampton, age 61, of Carrollton passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Great Trail Care Center in Minerva after a long battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Ruth Wells of Carrollton.  Survivors include her husband, Johnny Ray Hampton; her sister, Lynda (Wells) Sinnett and three brothers, Nick Wells, Ed Wells and Mark Wells.

There will be no service after cremation at her request.  A party to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.

The family asks for donations to be made to Carroll Golden Age Retreat where she worked as a LPN.
