Charles Drake Jr

Charles Drake Jr., 76, of Amsterdam passed away early Monday morning June 6, 2011, in his home.

Born July 12, 1934, in Whitehouse, KY, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. and Caroline Litton Drake.

Along with his wife, the former Mary Babel, whom he married Oct. 22, 1966, he is survived by two sons, Ronald (Jennifer Lee) Drake of Carrollton and Donald (Jennifer) Drake of Amsterdam; three grandchildren, Zoe, Myles, and Bryce; and a brother, Jack Drake of Wintersville.

Funeral services were held June 8 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Rev. Charles McNatt officiating. Burial followed in East Springfield Cemetery.
