Melody J. Lowery

Melody J. Lowery, age 51, of Kensington, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at her
home following a battle with cancer.

Born Oct. 27, 1960, in Alliance, she was a daughter of Bryan and Barbara (West) Grubbs.

Melody had been employed at the Essex of Salem as a STNA for six years.  She
was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her parents; two sons, Scott (Aneissa) Randal and Cody
Lowery; a daughter, Kaley Lowery; a sister, Marsha (John) Rutledge; and a
brother, Rusty (Lisa) Grubbs.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Grubbs, and AJ
and Evie West.

Services will be held Monday, June 4 at 8 p.m. at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Allmon officiating.  Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the services.
