Robert R. Young

Robert R. Young, 85, of Norwalk passed away May 15, 2010, in the Veteran's Hospital in Sandusky after a short illness.

Born July 12, 1924, in Salineville, he was the son of the late Clyde and Glenna (Adams) Young.

He was a licensed mortician, salesman and businessman, and a former councilman for Norwalk.  He was co-founder of the local "Great Trail" phone book, now known as "The User-Friendly" phone book.

He is survived by five daughters and a son; several grandchildren and one brother, Richard B. Young of Carrollton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teresa; son, Robert and sisters, Florence Jean Starr and Helen Levendoski.

Private services were held at the Sandusky V.A. Home.  His body was donated to medical science.
