She went on to pioneer multiple businesses, most recently as co-owner of a thriving marketing firm in Charleston. She accomplished all of this while remaining a devoted wife, loving mother and caring friend to all who knew her.
In addition to South Carolina and Ohio, Liz previously resided in Tacoma, WA, Enid, OK, Taegu, South Korea and Pensacola, FL.
She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Eric W. Skipper, US Air Force; their four-year-old son, Grayson; her parents, Allen and Mary Scott; and her brother, Eric Scott.
She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Liz will be laid to rest on her parents' farm in Ohio, where an oak tree will be planted in her honor. A memorial honoring Liz's life is scheduled May 22 from 1-5 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Waterfront Park in South Carolina. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Liz, a memorial education fund has been established for Grayson Skipper.
